LKIS has a dynamic creative vibe and this is evident in the students’ eager participation in the arts, as well as their talented and outstanding works and performance in Drama, Film Studies, Dance, Visual Arts and Design & Technology.
Our Visual Arts program encourages students to experiment with diverse mediums such as painting, sculpture, digital art, and installations. By exploring both traditional and contemporary techniques, learners gain confidence in their creativity while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Exhibitions and showcases provide them with platforms to share their artistic voices and celebrate their imagination.
Music – our ‘other’ Language
Our aim is to provide students with a high-quality music education based on a sensory learning experience, where children come to understand this symbolic language through singing, playing, listening and moving.
Children learn singing as well as playing simple music instruments right from the primary level, helping them to appreciate a combination or a merge of Indian and western music.
Dance at LKIS
Dance and drama help children develop their personalities, gain self confidence and improve communication skills. Children develop fluency in movements and actions and learn to express themselves emphathically in a creative manner.
At LK International School, our dance program blends classical, contemporary, and cultural forms, giving students the opportunity to explore rhythm, coordination, and artistic expression.
